Welcome to Auten’s Eatery! This is an exciting time for us all as we step into a dream I am my whole family have had for so many years… opening up a new restaurant! We are first and foremost a family… a family that loves food! After many years I and two of my children, Tess and Brendan, are putting all our training to work and we hope you love the food as much as we love to cook it.
When my wife and I were first married I spent my Sundays (after the Packer games) watching PBS cooking shows with Julia Child, Jacques Pepin, and Jeff Smith. I have always loved great tasting food, but as kids came along it became nearly impossible for us to take all of kids to upscale restaurants without spending a small fortune. I decided then that I was going to teach myself to cook the kind of food I would love to eat if I could order it for myself… and so it began!
We are a family of chef’s! When you come to Auten’s Eatery you will be welcomed by two of my incredible children who are both pastry chefs. Classically trained at Le Cordon Bleau. These young and talented chefs add a unique element to deserts and breads; all baked fresh daily. We hope that when you come into our place, you’ll feel like you’ve come home. Family meals around our dinner table hold some of the fondest memories for us as a family. From holiday dinners to Sunday lunches after church, we want to welcome your family and don’t worry… we’ll do all the cooking and even clean up when you’re done!

Today was the official grand opening for our restaurant. The current mayor of the city of Green Bay was here for the “Bread Cutting”we forgot the ribbon. We had a lot of friends and family present to help with the celebration. We look forward to serving the people of Green Bay comfort food our way.read more
